Hi, I’m Roz (Rosalyn) Jenkins and I’m a Psychological Therapist offering compassionate and individualised psychological therapy, as well as clinical supervision and training, in the Stockport area (and beyond, thanks to the wonders of the internet).

I’m aware it can be hard to know where to turn for support, and how to express yourself when you are talking to others, particularly when you’re struggling in life.

From my own personal experience of reaching out to therapists, I know it can be difficult to know who is the right person for you. Regardless of the qualifications someone may have, the most important thing is that you feel comfortable communicating with, and feel safe in, the relationship with your therapist.

My priority from our first contact, through to our final appointment, is to make you feel supported so that we can work together to make sense of, and work with, the issues you are facing.

I’ve been working in mental health for over 20 years, and specialise in working with neurodivergent clients. I specialise in treating adults (age 18+) who have experienced trauma and adverse life events, low self-confidence, depression and anxiety related difficulties.

Get in touch with me to take your first step towards working with me to help you blossom in therapy.

Please note that I am not able to offer a crisis service.

If you are feeling suicidal, wanting to harm yourself, or you feel you need immediate, urgent support please contact your GP or local out of hours service, or visit your nearest A&E Department.

You may also find it helpful to contact the Samaritans on 116123 or visit https://www.samaritans.org, or alternatively call the NHS 111 service.
